Without even thinking twice you said a 'good-bye'
As if you were just driving away a fruit fly.
I stood muddled and confused,
Watching you go away, my all words were diffused.
While walking away, you did not even turn,
You left my love and affection to burn.
How could you do that to me?
Was I so unspecial for your eyes to see.
In a nanosecond, you forgot everything,
All those songs which I used to sing.
Today they are all lost in the air,
And I feel insecure as they come and stare -
And question me if I were wrong.
If there was something hurting in my song.
I didn't know what to reply to them,
As I was really broken to say anything -
That moment. I was so tattered,
By the same girl who made me flattered.
I am unaware regarding whom shall I curse,
So that the conditions don’t get even worse.
Shall I go and meet her?
And carry with myself a flower?
I'm worried if it would work,
Or she would simply watch my condition with a smirk.
Whatever, I ought to tell her,
That even in worst situations, I cannot unlove her.
And I will be loyal to her always,
My love for her won't decrease with the passing days.
So I reached her home carrying that surprise,
That could touch her heart and make her realize -
That I'm indeed the 'perfect one' for her,
And needlessly she needn't suffer.
When I knocked the door, I found it to be open.
I wondered what could be the reason.
I rushed to her room,
And what I saw locked me in an instant doom.
She was comfortable in the arms of another boy,
A notorious fellow who wasn't at all coy.
She looked so relaxed and gay,
Oblivious of all that which happened between us during the day.
She noticed me peeping through the door,
That guy also saw me and the staring eyes became four.
I didn't know what to utter or how to react,
As she was no longer mine for whom I had to act.
She wasn't uneasy at all and stood firm,
Her eyes ordered me to leave her home.
Speechless, I turned behind,
I never wanted to see all that, why weren't I blind?
Before going back, I approached her,
She showed no sign of regret but dislike.
I had no courage to do anything but murmur,
"Thanks for making me worthless in your eyes."
